Precise irrigation: award for fruit-growing project

In the competition Together for our future, organised by the Raiffeisen Federation, an innovative irrigation system for wine and fruit growing won third place. The project combines soil moisture sensors with automated drip irrigation, ensuring that water is supplied only when it is truly needed.

The first results are promising: in the particularly dry year 2022, water consumption was reduced by more than 50% – without any loss of quality.
